4x+6/y=15

4x+6=15y

4x=15y-6

x=15y-6/4 ---------->equation(1)

6x-8/y=14

6x-8=14y

6x=14y+8

x=14y+8/6 ------------>equation(2)

by elimination method,

equation(1) - equation(2)

x-x=15y-6/4-14y+8/6

0 =  \frac{6(15y - 6) - 4(14y + 8)}{24}

6(15y-6)-4(14y+8)=24*0

90y-36-56y-32=0

34y-68=0

34y=68

y=2

therefore,

from equation (1)

x=15y-6/4

x=15*2-6/4

x=30-6/4

x=24/4

x=6

therefore,

x=6

y=2
