HEY MATE HERE YOUR ANSWER....

4x+6y=5------------->(1)

18x+6y=16---------->(2)

solving:

-14x=11

x=-11/14

substitutes the equation(1)

4x+6y=5

4(-11/14)+6y=5

-11/7+6y=5

6y=5+11/7

6y=45+11/7

6y=56/7

6y=8

y=8/6

y=4/3

Hope it's help you....

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

4x+6y= 5 ......eq 1

9x+3y= 8 .......eq 2

Multiply eq 1 by 9 and eq 2 by 4

36x + 54y = 45 ......eq 3

36x + 12y = 32 .......eq 4

Subtract eq 4 from eq 3

42y = 13

Y= 13/42

Y=0.31

Subtitute Y in Eq 1

4x + 6(0.31) = 5

4x + 1.86 = 5

4x = 3.14

x = 3.14/4

x = 0.79
