HELLO DEAR

4X + 6Y = 6------(1)
3X + 7Y = 2--------(2)

From--(1) & -----(2)
Multiply by (3) in --(1) & (4) in --(4)

12x + 18y = 18
12x + 28y = 8
(-)____(-)___(-)
----------------------
-10y = 10

=> y = -1 put in --(1)

we get,

4x + 6(-1) = 6

=> 4x = 6 + 6

=> X = 12/4 = 3

=> X = 3 , y = -1

AND,

(X - y) = [ 3 - (-1) ]

=> (3 + 1) = 4

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS
