5 litres of 0.4 M sulphuric acid solution would contain 2 moles of sulphuric acid.
So, how did I get that answer? Well, M, or molar, is just the number of moles per litre. Or put another way, mol / l.
Therefore I can express 0.4 M as 0.4 mol / l. As I have 5 litres then I have 5 x 0.4, which is 2.
Hence I have 2 moles of sulphuric acid.
Hope this will help you.... ✌
