Sona attempted all questions and got 10 answers correct. But her total score was only +20

so according to first condition

3x-y=20 (1)

according to second condition,

now here x=10 (2)

substitute x ka value in (1)

we get

(3×10)-y=20

thus 30-20=y

hence y=10

thus she gave 10 answers incorrect

so total questions asked=total correct answers+total incorrect

=10+10

=20

hence total questions asked in exam were 20 questions
