answer : H - 1/2g(T - t)²

A particle is projected vertically upwards and it reaches the maximum height H in time T. now we have to find height of particle at any time t.

as it is given, after time T, particle is at maximum height, H so, velocity at height H = 0 i.e., v = 0

so, distance covered by particle at time t = H - displacement covered by particle from maximum height, H at time (T - t)

= H - {v(T - t) + 1/2 (g)(T - t)²}

= H - {1/2g(T - t)²}

= H - 1/2 g(T - t)²

hence, the height of particle after time t = H - 1/2g(T - t)²
