Answer:

The given equation is proved

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,  X (Y+Z) =XY+XZ ---------- (1)

X =5/7, Y = 3/2, Z = 2/5

To verify the equation (1) put the values of  X, Y, Z in equation

(5/7) ( (3/2) + (2/5) )  =  (5/7) * (3/2) + (5/7) * (2/5)

(5/7) [ ( (3*5)+(2*2) ) / (2*5) ]  =  (5*3)/(7*2) + (5*2)/(7*5)

(5/7) [ (15+4) / 10]  =  (15/14) + (10/35)

(5/7) * (19/10)  = [ (15*35) + (10*14) / (14*35)

(95/70)  = (525+140) / 490

(95/70)  =  (665/490)  --------------  divide this equation by 7

(95/70)  =  (95/70)

L. H. S.  =  R. H. S.
