Given,

 \frac{5}{4}  \times  \frac{24}{15}

 \frac{1}{1}  \times  \frac{6}{3}

Here

5 became 1 and 15 becomes 3 because 15 is multiple with 3 in 5 table.

4become 1 and 24 becomes 6 because 24 is multiple with 6 in 4 table.

 \frac{1}{1}  \times  \frac{6}{3}

by cross multiplication

we get

6×3 = 18
