Solution :
Given that :
A.P. = 5, 8, 11, 14.....
a = 5, d = 8 - 5 = 3 and n = 24
As we know that :
Sum of A.P. = n/2[ 2a + (n - 1)d]
=> S = 24/2[ 2×5 + (24 - 1) × 3 ]
=> S = 12 ( 10 + 69 )
=> S = 12 × 79
=> S = 948
So, the sum of 1st 24 terms of A.P. will be 948
