Answer:

1/2<5/8<5/6

Step-by-step explanation:

5/8, 5/6, 1/2

First step- Take the LCM of the denominators,I.e. 8,6,2

LCM of 8,6,2= 24

Now

Second step- Multiply the denominators with a no. that is equal to the LCM.

e.g. 8×3=24, 6×4=24, 2×12=24

Now multiply the same no. with the numerators.

i.e. 5×3=15, 5×4=20, 1×12=12

Now we have the same denominators.

I.e. 15/24, 20/24, 12/24

Now as we can see the numerators they have different values with them.

We will arrange the them in ascending order acc to their values.

I.e. 12/24<15/24<20/24

As we have arranged them in ascending order, now we will arrange them again in ascending order with their original values.

I.e. 1/2<5/8<5/6

Hope u understand
