a.. Calculate the maximum height reached by the ball. [ans: 20.41 m ]
b.. how long does it remain in the air? take g= 9.8m/s². [ans=4.08s]​

Explanation:

a. maximum height (H) = u^2/ 2g

u = 20m/s.

H = 20^2/2*9.8

= 400/19.6

= 20.408 = 20.41m

b. use (T) = 2u/g

=2(20)/9.8

=40/9.8

=4.081 = 4.08s
