Time = distance/velocity, so since distance =3240m and velocity = 720 m/s:

Time (s) = 3240 / 720 = 4.5s

So The bullet will take 4.5 seconds to reach the target.

Given that

speed = 720m/s

s= 3240

speed =distance ÷time

time = distance ÷ speed

= 3240 ÷ 720

t =4.5
