Explanation:

first interval

distance (S) = 450m

time (t)= 5 sec

acceleration (a) =?

u = 0 m/s

using second equation of motion

s = ut+1/2at^2

450=0×5+1/2×a×5^2

450=1/2×a×25

a=450×2/25

a=18×2

a=36m/s

second interval

s=ut+1/2at^2

700=1/2×a×5^2

700=1/2×a×25

700×2/25=a

a=28×2

a=56m/s

on subtracting eq1) from eq 2

56-36=20 m/s
