Volume=

${308m}^{3}$

and depth = 8 metre.

Volume of cylinder=

$\pi {r}^{2} h$

therefore,

$308 = \frac{22}{7} {r}^{2} 8$

${r}^{2} = \frac{49}{4} \\ therefore \: r = \frac{7}{2} \\ therefore \: diameter = 7metre$
