rectangles base will also be 10 cm(because same base)

so

perimeter=36 cm

2(l+b)=36

2(10+b)=36

10+b=36/2

b=18-10

b=8

So area of rectangle=8 x 10=80cm^2

area of parallelogram=area of rectangle (because they are on same base and lie between the same parallel)

area of parallelogram=80cm^2
