☘️ Answer :

  • Volume of the cylinder = 539 cm²

☘️ Solution :

TSA of cylinder = 462 cm²

CSA of cylinder = 1/3(TSA of cylinder

= 1/3(462)

= 154

→ 2πr² + 156 = 462

→ 2πr² = 462 - 156

→ 2 × 22/7 × r² = 308

→ r² = 308×7/2×22

→ r = √49

→ r = 7

→ 2πrh = 154

→ 2 × 22/7 × 7 × h = 154

→ h = 154/2×22

→ h = 7/2 cm

Therefore, volume of cylinder = 2πr²h

= 22/7 × 7 × 7 × 7/2

= 539 cm³
