The speed of the train is 45 km per hour

To find:

Speed of train = ?

Solution:

Given : A train 350 m long crosses an electric pole in 28 seconds  

Speed = distance / time

=350/28

Speed = 12.5 m/s        

Convert metre per second into kilometre per hour,

1 m/s = 18/5 km per hour

12.5 m/s = 12.5 × 18/5 km per hour

= 45 km per hour  

Thus the speed of the train is 45 km per hour
