5. A train runs at a speed of 65 km/h for 2
hours, then at a speed of 80 km/h for 90
minutes and finally at a speed of 60 km/h
for 45 minutes. What is the total distance
covered by the train?​

Distance travelled in 45- minutes at the speed of 80Km/h=80 x 0.75

= 60-Km

On increasing the speed by 10- Km, the new speed= 90 Km.

So time taken = Distance / Speed =60/90= 2/3- hours

= 2/3 x 60

= 40- minutes
