Answer:

Let the height of tower be h

Let height of hill be x

tan60

o

=

40

x−1.75

3

=

40

x−1.75

40

=x−1.75

∴, height of hill x=71.03 m

tan50

o

=

40

x−h−1.75

1.19=

40

71.03−h−1.75

47.67=71.03−h−1.75

Height of towerh=21.1 m
