An object moves at 10 km/h for 10 minutes and then moves 15 km/h for 15 minutes. Find

Answer: Total distance travelled by object equal to 25 km

Average speed of the object equal to 10 kilometre Plus 15 kilometre equal to 225 kilometre simply explain that distance covered by object 1 hour 1 kilometre so show the average speed equal to 25 kilometre per hour

Firs of all we will converting minutes to hours .

10 minutes = 0.17 hours

15 minutes = 0.25 hours

{Using formula }

Distance= speed × Time

distance= 10 × 0.17 = 1.7 km

Distance= speed × Time

= 15 × 0.25= 3.75 km

Total distance= 3.75+1.70 = 5.45 km
