Answer = 15

Given

Consider the total work to be 1

Anil = A

Sunil = B

Rajat = C

The work done by Anil (A) =  1

                                              12

The work done by Sunil (B)=  1

                                                10

The work done by Anil, Sunil and Rajat (A+B+C) = 1

                                                                                  4

To find

The work done by Rajat (C) =  1

                                                  x

Solution

Work done by Anil, Sunil and Rajat= Work done by Anil +Work done by Sunil + Work done by Rajat

1 = 1 + 1 + 1

4   12  10    x

Group the known terms on the right side and unknown terms on the left side

1  =   1    - 1     - 1

x       4      12     10

By taking LCM, we get the denominator 60

1    = 15 - 5  -6

x            60

1   = 4

x     60

By cross multiplication,

4x= 60

x= 15

Thus, the work done by Rajat= 15 hours
