5. Construct a triangle ABC with BC= 7 cm, CA=3 cm and AB=5 cm​

What is a triangle?

A triangle is a plane figure which is bounded with three lines.

Rule used:-

SSS:-

A triangle can be constructed if three sides of one triangle are given. This is known as Side - Side - Side rule.

How to construct?

Given:-

AB = 5 cm

BC = 7 cm

CA = 3 cm

To Construct:-

Triangle from the given data.

Procedure:-

Let's consider base (BC) of 7cm.

• Draw a base BC of 7cm using rural.

• Measure 5 cm on your protractor keeping 'B' as origin cut an arc AB.

• Measure 3 cm on protractor using rural and cut an arc.

• Join both sides of triangle where both the arcs intersects name it as 'A'.

• You get a triangle ABC.
