• They are bounded by the Aravali Mountains,Vindhya Range,Malwa and Chota Nagpur Plateau.
• The Chota Nagpur Plateau marks it's eastwards extension.
• It's slope is from West to East.
Deccan Plateau:-
• They lie to the South of Narmada river.
• They are bounded by the Eastern and Western ghats.
• The Mahadev,Kaimur Hills and Maikal Range make it's Eastern part.
• It's slope is from South West to North East.
