Innate immunity.

  • It is non specific
  • it is present from birth and inherited from parents.
  • it does not cause side effects.
  • innate immunity can be accomplished by
  1. Physiological barriers like tears in eyes, acids in stomach, saliva in mouth etc.
  2. cytokinesis barriers i. e, interferons produced by virus - infected cell to protect non-infected cell from viral infection.

Aquired immunity

  • it is pathogenic specific
  • it develops after birth and trough vaccination.
  • it may cause certain reactions against vaccination.
  • cell of immune response are produce by two type of lymphocytes.
  1. B-lymphocytes
  2. T-lymphocytes.
