  • Response
  • Recovery
  • Prevention

Preparedness includes a set of activities that community collectively takes before diaster occurs to reduce the impact of disaster. It includes

Response includes a set of activities that community collectively performs in anticipation of during and immediately after diaster to minimise the effects of diaster. It includes

  • Activate emergency operation centres
  • setting up community kitchen
  • mobilising resources
  • Rescue or search teams

Recovery includes measures which support diaster affected communities in the reconstruction of physical infrastructure and restoration of emotional well being of the people..It includes

  • Arranging for jobs
  • Restoring essential services
  • Reconstruction of buildings
  • Developing awareness on health and safety measures.
  • Providing financial support.

Prevention includes measure to eliminate the incidence of severity of diaster.It includes
