༺Answer ༻:-

✪The length of AB is 7cm.

✪Point P lies on the line AB, such that AP:PB=1:3.

✯Let the measure of AP and PB be x and 3x.

⇛AB =AP + PB

⇛7 = X + 3x

⇛7 = 4x

⇛X = 7/4

★The measure of AP and PB are

⇛AP = X

⇛X = 7/4

Hence , AP = 7/4

⇛PB = 3x

⇛3x = 3 × 7/4

⇛3x = 21 / 4

Hence, PB = 21/4
