A magnet attracts only items made of or containing Iron.
But Earth, due to its extensive mass and gravitational pull, attracts not only Iron but every single object in its gravitational field.

Earth is not a magnet.
Earth has a gravitational force that attract all the material towards it. If earth was a magnet it would have only attracted metals or metallic material. But this gravitational force attracts every object towards it. So earth is not a magnet
