David Dau is correct, this question needs more context. The only time rocks are economically important is if you are selling river rock for landscaping. Someone might also sell small rocks for jewelry and perhaps even polish them first.

Without Iron, for example, we would not be able to live since hemoglobin carries the oxygen that is necessary for cellular functions.
