Given:-

  • Length of each equal side 5 cm.

To find:-

  • Area of an isosceles right triangle.

Solution:-

Area of triangle = 1/2 bh

→ 1/2 × 5 × 5

→ 2.5 × 5

12.5 cm²

Hence,

  • the area of the triangle is 12.5 cm².

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Some Formulae

→ Area of square = (side)²

→ Area of rectangle = length × breadth

→ Area of triangle = ½ × base × height

→ Area of parallelogram = base × height

→ Area of Circle = πr²

GiveN:

  • Length of an isosceles right triangle of each equal side 5cm

To FinD:

  • Area of the triangle

Formula used:

  • \bf \dfrac{1}{2} \times base \times height

Required Solution:

  • As, it's given that the length of each equal side is 5cm.
  • So, Both base and height is 5cm

So,

  • Base of the isosceles triangle = 5cm.
  • Height of the isosceles triangle = 5cm.
  • Area of the isosceles triangle = 12.5 sq.cm
