Answer:

 \large \green{Solution}

16 hectares=160000 sq.m.

40 dam=400 m

area of a triangle= 1/2 * base * height

160000=1/2*base*400

base=160000*2/400

=800 m

base=800 m= 80 dam

 \large \green{Answer} ➠80Dam.

Find the base of the triangle if, area is 16 hectares and height is 40 dam.

\sf\pink{Solution}

Base = 80 dam

\sf\pink{Explanation}

Area of the triangle = 16 hectares

{As 1 hectare = 10000 m^2 so 16 hectares = 1,60,000m^2}

Now height = 40 dam

{ As 1 dam = 10m so 40 dam = 400m}

Now , area of triangle = 160000 m^2

Height of triangle = 400m

So , the base of the triangle = 160000×2/400

Base = 800m

= 80 dam
