Correct Question

  • Find the sum and Product of the roots of the equation x {}^{2}  -   4\sqrt{3} x  + 9 = 0

Solution :-

x {}^{2}  - 4 \sqrt{3}x + 9 = 0

Here, a = 1 , b = 43 , c = 9

Now, Sum of Roots = - b/ a

=> - ( - 4√3) / 1

➠ 4√3

Product of Roots = c/a

=> 9/1

➠ 9

The Sum and product of the given equation is 4√3 and 9 respectively.!
