Solution,

There are only 1 rational numbers between 1/4 and 3/4 that are 2/4

So we will multiply numenator and denominator of given numbers by 3 and we get,

Number 1 = $(\frac{1}{4}) *(\frac{3}{3})$

Number 1 = $(\frac{3}{12})$

Number 2 = $(\frac{3}{4}) *(\frac{3}{3})$

Number 1 = $(\frac{9}{12})$

Now, the rational numbers between 3/12 and 9/12 are:

4/12 , 5/12 , 6/12 , 7/12, 8/12

Hence, the three rational numbers between  3/12 and 9/12 are 5/12, 7/12, and 8/12.
