HERE IS UR ANS MATE....

Foraging, flying or crawling insects such as flies are attracted to the cavity formed by the cupped leaf, often by visual lures such as anthocyanin pigments, and nectar bribes. The rim of the pitcher (peristome) is slippery, when moistened by condensation or nectar, causing insects to fall into the trap.

pls mark me as the brainliest!!!

Explanation:

first a pitcher plant is called as pitcher because it is shaped like a pitcher and have an aromative fluid which can attract any insect. when a insect gets attracted towards it, it is the first trap.

when the insect lands on the pitcher plant and goes inside, the lid closes rapidly and the insect gets sticked to it and digested.

another way is the pitcher plant's lid will be colourfull which can attract insects and the same way happens as said before
