Proverbs are popular sayings that are often used in sentences. We call Proverb as "Muhaawre" in Hindi. The examples of proverb are:-

1) Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Meaning=>It is used to refer when People who we love dearly are not with us, our love for them increases.

Meaning=> When I was with her she always fought with me but now she cries for me on phone. I think that distance made her heart grow fonder.

2) Action speaks louder than words.

Meaning=> Giving your opinion to someone is easy, but they are difficult to act or follow them.
So action gives better reflection of your character and personality.

Example=> Julie always says she’ll donate to the school, and she never does, so I doubt she will this year. Actions speak louder than words, after all.

3) A fool and his money are soon parted.

Meaning=> A foolish person doesn't know how to use or get hold of their money.

Example=>She gave up her entire estate on the basis of a verbal promise. A fool and his money are indeed easily parted.

4) A journey of a thousand miles began with a simple step.

Meaning=> It shows that a big task only can be possible by taking small steps first.

Example=> It is quite impossible to write 4000 word paper by next week, but I guess I'll start writing 500 words every day. After all, A journey of a thousand miles began with a simple step.

5) All's well that ends well.

Meaning=> It shows that as long as the result is good, problems on the way doesn't matter.

Example=> Ravi almost didn't make it here, but all's well that ends well.
