1)Amisha drank 250 ml water from a 1 litre bottle or water and her friend
drank 150 mL water, how much water is left in the bottle now?
2) Mohan runs a tea-stall. He uses 20 mL milk for making 1 cup of tea then
how much milk is needed for making 100 cups of tea ?​

Answer 1

1) 1 litre = 1000mL.

Amisha drank 250ml = -250ml

Her friends drank 150ml = -150ml

1000-250-150 = 600ml (answer)

2) 20 ml milk for 1 cup of tea

So,100 cups = 20 x 100 = 2000ml of milk
