5. How should we look upon the things of this world in a Islamic way?
Answers
Answer:
Muslims believe that all people are khalifahs, or guardians, of the planet and have a duty and responsibility for its care. A number of the Hadith refer to the Prophet Muhammad's concern about the environment and treatment of animals, and he encourages those around him to value the Earth and all of nature.
Answer:
Everything in this world is temporary and will one day come to an end. We will all return to Allah. Therefore, we shouldn't work too hard to acquire material possessions like money, expensive cars, villas, and other worldly goods to the point that we fall in love with Dunya. Allah says about this in the Quran:
1· “The mutual rivalry (for piling up of worldly things) diverts you,
2. Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die)” (Quran, Surah At-Takathur: 1 – 2).
