Given :

  • Cost of pair of the shoes = ₹450
  • GST charged on it = 5%

To Find :

  • The total amount of the bill.

Solution :

Firstly we will find the GST amount .

According to Question,

•GST amount = 5% of 450

•GST amount = \sf\dfrac{5}{10\cancel{0}}\times{45\cancel{0}}

•GST amount = \sf\dfrac{\cancel{5}^1}{\cancel{10}^2}\times{45}

•GST amount = \sf\dfrac{45}{2}

•GST amount = ₹\sf {22.5}

Now,the total amount of the bill is :

Total amount of the pair of shoes

= ₹(450+22.5)

= ₹472.50

∴The option (c) is correct .

Answer:

\\\;\underbrace{\underline{\sf{Answer}}}

use the formula:- n.o of percent/100× mark price

give:- 5%/100×450=22.50

for finding GST we have to add the 22.50+450

when we add 22.50+450=

472.5

so, the amount of the bill will be 472.50
