Given :  coloured blocks are laid out in a row: three red, two blue, three red, two blue and so on

there are 65 coloured blocks

To Find :  how many would be red

Solution:

Red = 3

Blue = 2

Total = 5

Hence for every 5 there are 3 Red

For total 5 , numbers of Red  = 3

=> For total 1 , numbers of Red  = 3/5

=> For total 65 , numbers of Red  = 65 * 3/5  = 39

There are 39 Red Blocks
