Given:
Mass of fuel = 5kg
Heat generated = 320 kJ or 320000 J

We know that Calorific Value = Amount of fuel produced / mass of fuel

=> 320000/ 5

= 64000 J/kg or 64kJ / kg

Answer:

64000kJ/kg

Explanation:

Calorific value is the amount of heat energy present in food or fuel and which is determined by the complete combustion of specified quantity at constant pressure and in normal conditions. It is also called calorific power. The unit of calorific value is kilojoule per kilogram i.e. KJ/K

Given:

Mass of fuel = 5kg

Heat generated = 320 kJ or 320000 J

We know that Calorific Value = Amount of fuel produced / mass of fuel

=> 320000/ 5

= 64000 J/kg or 64kJ / kg
