The lost Child is a story about a boy who had a desire of buy many things from the fair. He knows that his parents will refused for his desires but he still demands for it. He had the desire of buying many like balloons, having a ride on the roundabout, listening to the song of the snake charmer,a garland of gulmohar, his favourite sweet barfi, etc.

He was so mesmerized by the objects over there that he lacked behind from his parents. When there was no reply from the side of the parents he realised that he had been lost. After that kind hearted man tried to comfort that boy was shouting that he wanted his mother and father. The story is not clear whether he met his parents or not but of course he would have found them after a long struggle. In the meanwhile he would have understood the importance of parents in a child's life.
