Every large scale work has to be framed inside a system, to successfully achieve the objectives, for which the several tasks are initiated. The sytems are theoretically described and are also named.

One of them is the agile system of work. It is one of the most advanced concept, for planning and initiating the development tasks. Here the ultimate product's shape and details are not knwn and cannot be decided from before hands, hence it is made with a great flexibilty,so that any alteration can be easily made.

The iteration tracking can be a standard way for anyone outside an agile team to get the status of the work at any point in time.

Within any iteration, the effort can represent the actual state of the iteration at any point of time.

Along with the progress of the iteration process, remaining efforts those are required to finish the tasks of the iteration should be decreasing.
