N2 + 3H2--->NH3 .So by gay lussac's law we can assume that we know the volume of Nitrogen show by putting the nitrogen and hydrogen and their places we will find that if we use 5 litres of Nitrogen we have to use 15 litres of hydrogen too but we do not have 15 litres of hydrogen we only have 12 litres of hydrogen so it is hence proved that the limiting Reagent here is hydrogen.
