Given:

There are 15 men in the company.

5 of men are smokers

To Find:

3 men are chosen,.

(a) Find the probability that all are smokers.

(b) Non of the 3 are smokers.

(a) Find the probability that all are smokers.

Total men = 15

Total smokers = 5

P(3 men selected are smokers) = 5/15 x 4/14 x 3/13

P(3 men selected are smokers) = 2/91

a) Find the probability that all are non-smokers.

Total men = 15

Total non-smokers = 15 - 5 = 10

P(3 men selected are smokers) = 10/15 x 9/14 x 8/13

P(3 men selected are smokers) = 24/91

Answer: (a) 2/91   (b) 24/91
