Given :   Neha leaves home at 6 o'clock in the morning and travels at a speed of 45 km/h.

Two hours later,  her friend Sahil follows her travelling at a speed of 60 km/h.

To Find : .   time Sahil catch up with  Neha

Solution:

Let say after T hrs of Neha Leaves Sahil catch up

Distance = speed  x Time

Speed of Neha = 45 km/hr

Distance covered by Neha  =  45T  km

Sahil will travel for 2 hrs less = T - 2  hrs

Sahil speed = 60  km/hr

Distance covered by Sahil = 60(T - 2)

60(T - 2)  = 45T

= 4(T - 2) = 3T

=> 4T - 8 = 3T

=> T = 8

8 hrs after 6 O clock  in Morning

= 6 + 8  = 14

14 = 12 + 2

= 2 PM

Sahil catch up with  Neha at 2 PM
