four companies S, T, U and V. Now answer the following questions:

Given,

Let the total market shares of four companies S, T, U and V be "x".

The market share of company S is 8 crores

In pie chart, the degree value of S is 80°.

Therefore, we have,

80°/360° × x = 8 crores

x = 8 × 360°/80°

x = 36

Therefore, the total market shares of four companies S, T, U and V is 36 crores.

Now, let us consider,

In pie chart, the degree value of T is 60°.

The market share of company T is given by,

=  60°/360° × 36 crores

= 1/6 × 36 crores

= 6 crores

Therefore, the market share of company T is 6 crores
