• Appointment of E is immediately preceded by B.
• Appointment of A is before E.
• There is gap of 3 days between C and E

see, first it says that after E, its B's appointment. so let us take Eas monday( for now),that means, B has the appointment on tuesday. now, it says that A's appointment is before E. so presume A as monday. that means A is on monday, E is on tuesday, and B is on wednesday. then it says that between E and C, there is a gap of 3 days. Therefore, after tuesday, C has the appointment on friday. now it is obvious that D will have the appointment on thursday, as it is the only day left. Therfore, the pattern of these appointments is as follows:-
