Heya !!
Here's the answer !!
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ARTERIES AND VEINS :
Arteries :
✔Arteries carry oxygenated blood , away from the heart (except the pulmonary artery).
✔These are bright red in colour.
✔These are mostly deep seated in the body.
✔ Arteries are thick walled as the tunica media is relatively thick , with smooth muscles and two elastic laminae.
✔Lumen is narrow.
✔These are non valvular .
✔Blood in Arteries flows with more pressure and by jer_ks.
✔ Arteries end in capillaries.
Veins :
✔Veins carry deoxygenated blood , towards the heart (except the pulmonary veins ) .
✔These are dark in colour.
✔Veins are generally superficial.
✔Veins are thin walled as the tunica media is relatively thin with one elastic lamina and the walls are slightly muscular.
✔Lumen is wide.
✔These are valvular.
✔ Blood in the veins flows steadily with relatively low pressure.
✔veins start as capillaries.
Hope this helps you :)
