Answer:

over interior Asia and north-western India during summer low pressure is produce and over the southern Indian Ocean high pressure is produce. the low pressure area attracts the southeast winds due to winds move from high to low pressure area.

→due to the Coriolis force-turn right towards the low-pressure areas over the Indian subcontinent as a result of trade. The winds starts move from south-westerly direction as the wind crosses the equator, and enter in Indian peninsula as the southwest monsoon.

→over warm oceans the winds flow and bring moisture to the subcontinent. after it reach the southern tip of the Indian peninsula it divided into the Arabian and Bay of Bengal branch.

→The Arabian Sea branch hits the Western Ghats and the Bay of Bengal hits the eastern Himalayas. which results in high rainfall in coastal areas from arabian sea branch, while the Western Ghats receive very less rain.

→from the Bay of Bengal Branch the north eastern area recieves high rainfall.

→as the Arabian Sea branch moves towards the north-east and join the Bay of Bengal branch over the northern part of the country, the monsoon is recieve between 100 to 120 days.
