Answer:

Cost price=Rs. 400 for 100 bunches

30 bunches got spoilt

70 bunches each at Rs. 5

Selling price=70×5= Rs. 350

Cost price-selling price=0

∴ he made a loss and the loss is Rs.50/−

Step-by-step explanation:

there for cost of 100 methi = 400

there for cost of 1 methi = 100/400= 4Rs.

there for 30 methi = 4×30= 120

there for 30 methi are spoiled = 30- 100= 70

now he sell one for Rs 5

there for 70 methi = 70×5 = 350

there for he had a loss of Rs 50.
