country. Once he attacked Kalinga , and fierce Battle was occurred in the bank of river Daya.
Kalinga troops were fighting bravely, but they could not stood upon the mighty troop of Ashoka.
Thousands of soldiers died on both sides. Kalinga lost many of her warrior. Finally Ashoka was
victory But the conquest did not make him happy permanently. The horrors of war made him to
cry. He repent for his action , turned into Dharmasoka and preached the Buddhism. History sang
this story till today.
